On 24-28 September 2019 in Cape Town (South Africa), the 8th Conference on Ecological Restoration will be held.

- Online Registration: Early bird registration is now open. Register before June 30 for the best available rates. Society for Ecological Restoration members receive an additional discount. Register now.
- Plenary Speakers: We have an exciting lineup of plenary speakers with more still to be added. Learn about these special guests.
- Offsets Program: The conference will be making a contribution to an ecological restoration project in Africa as a way to offset some of our environmental impact. We are currently seeking applications from projects that would like to partner with us. Details can be found here.
- Registration Grants: We will soon be inviting applications for a small number of grants to support the participation of students and delegates from Africa and other developing countries. This program is made possible by donations and grants from the International Congress and Convention Association and an anonymous donor. Please help SER expand the program by making your donation to SER’s Opportunity Fund or by contacting SER's membership director Laura Capponi to discuss a gift – all donations will be matched dollar for dollar up to $10,000!
- 2019 SER Awards: Nominate a colleague by 13 May for the 2019 SER Awards. Recipients will be recognized during the SER2019 8th World Conference on Ecological Restoration. Find out more about the award categories and nomination criteria
