Ecoreach has organized a day of activity to disseminate the MERCES project on  the Gabicce Mare beach. On the occasion, a series of activities have been carried out  to increase awareness of the importance of conservation and restoration of degraded marine habitats and to disseminate scientific results of the MERCES research activities.
Many activities  were carried out during the divulgation event with great involvement of the bathers present, including: the distribution of informative material about to the  MERCES project, its aims, specific actions and geographical context;  specific kids-activities , as the distribution of a drawings for coloring and  tell a fable with the inhabitants of the sea as protagonists, in order to increase their knowledge of the marine life and to make them aware of the need to protect the sea. Moreover, practical activities dedicated to families, as  walks along the shoreline were organized and The questionnaires on the perception of the marine habitats alteration and restoration were  distributed to citizens and tourists.
