Some pics from the Deep-Sea Sponges, MERCES_eu & Eu-ATLAS touring exhibition currently in the Azores, at OMA - Observatório do Mar dos Açores and during the Sea Week. Discover the deep-sea through samples from the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea, observe sponges and gorgonians under the microscope, and learn about their importance and the threats they are facing. The exhibition will soon be back at OMA, where it's staying through September!!!
