On April 7th, 2017 theFaculty of Science - University of Zagreb, organised the traditional Open day, where the whole institution takes part. The event called "The Biology Day and Night" is open to general public from children to elderly people.

Prof. Roberto Danovaro (MERCES coordinator) will participate in the 13th Offshore Mediterranean Conference and Exhibitionthat will be held in Ravenna on March 29-31, 2017. Title of the talk: "Implementing the monitoring and restoration of marine ecosystems impacted by offshore platform".
By kind invitation of Dr. Hans Tore Rapp (SponGES coordinator), MERCES will be presented at the SponGES annual meeting. The meeting will be held at the Natural History Museum of London on April 4th, 2017.
