The aquatic sciences to understand the changes and to make the public aware - The growth of the human population and the consequent increased human impact on terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems are now social problems perceived globally and not just of exclusive interest to the scientific community.
Prof. Roberto Danovaro (MERCES coordinator) will participate in the 13th Offshore Mediterranean Conference and Exhibitionthat will be held in Ravenna on March 29-31, 2017. Title of the talk: "Implementing the monitoring and restoration of marine ecosystems impacted by offshore platform".
By kind invitation of Dr. Hans Tore Rapp (SponGES coordinator), MERCES will be presented at the SponGES annual meeting. The meeting will be held at the Natural History Museum of London on April 4th, 2017.
